Safety Information

Precautions & Safety Guidelines

  • The instrument should be operated only by authorized and trained personnel.
  • Unauthorized personnel must not perform servicing, maintenance, or cabinet removal under any circumstances.
  • The power supply should be regulated using a voltage stabilizer or an uninterrupted power supply (UPS). If an inverter is used, ensure that a voltage stabilizer is also connected.
  • It is recommended to use only company-approved reagents for optimum performance and accuracy.
  • The flow cell should be cleaned regularly using the company-recommended flow cell cleaning solution.
  • Users are advised not to use any pointing devices other than those supplied by the company while operating the touchscreen.
  • The instrument should be installed in a clean operating environment and protected from direct sunlight, dust, and excessive humidity.
  • At the end of each working day, ensure that the flow cell is filled with distilled water to maintain proper functioning and prevent clogging.
  • During transportation or extended shutdown periods, proper shutdown and protective procedures should be followed as recommended by the company.
  • Regular preventive maintenance should be carried out to ensure reliable performance and extended instrument life.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the instrument for safe and efficient operation.
  • Avoid sudden power interruptions or improper shutdown procedures to prevent data loss and equipment damage.

Direction for Use

Installation & Operating Guidelines

  • Ensure that the power source is properly grounded and that the voltage between Line and Ground remains within 2V AC to 5V AC for safe and stable operation.
  • Place the instrument on a firm, vibration-free table in a clean environment with adequate ventilation space around the unit.
  • Switch on the instrument and allow it to initiate its internal diagnostic routines, which verify the proper functioning of critical system components.
  • Allow the instrument to stabilize for approximately 10 minutes before beginning operation.
  • During the stabilization period, clean the flow cell thoroughly by rinsing it at least twice with the recommended cleaning solution followed by distilled water.
  • Before shutting down the instrument, ensure that the flow cell is properly cleaned using the recommended flow cell cleaning solution and rinsed thoroughly with distilled water.
  • For overnight shutdowns, ensure that the flow cell remains filled with distilled water to prevent clogging and maintain optimal performance.
  • After use, always protect the instrument by covering it with the provided dust cover to minimize dust accumulation and extend equipment life.
  • Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, excessive humidity, or corrosive environments to maintain consistent instrument performance.
  • Regular cleaning and preventive maintenance are recommended to ensure long-term reliability and accuracy.

Other Info

General Information

During the installation and setup of the instrument, all safety instructions and general precautions described in the following sections must be carefully observed to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
