Control solutions contain a known amount of glucose. When applied to a test strip, the meter should display results within the specified target range printed on the test strip vial label. This ensures the system is performing correctly.

Sample Size for Test Strips: 0.5 µL control solution.
Safety Information

- Avoid contamination by not touching the vial tip to any surface, including the test strip.
- Use only with Xpress Gluco Test Strips and meters.
Direction for Use
1. Insert a test strip into the Xpress Gluco meter (meter will turn on automatically).
2. Shake the control solution vial gently, then discard the first drop.
3. Apply the next drop to the edge of the test strip sample area.
4. Wait for the result to appear on the display.
5. Compare the result with the control range printed on the test strip vial label.
Expected Results
Each control solution (Low and High) has an assigned range specific to the test strip lot.

Troubleshooting
1. If results are outside the printed range:
2. Check expiration dates of strips and control solution.
3. Ensure proper storage of solutions and strips.
4. Repeat the test carefully.
5. If results remain outside the range, do not use the system for patient testing and contact customer support.

1. Control solution is not a substitute for patient blood samples.
2. Do not use control solution ranges to interpret patient results.
