HbA1c Direct reagent kit
is used for direct quantitative determination of Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) in whole blood.
HbA1c Direct 80 – Infinite 3 kits (2 Calibrator FOC) is ready-to-use, two liquid reagent system & is stable till expiry date indicated on the label when stored at 2°C-8°C. HbA1c normal range is below 5.7%, level of 5.7% to 6.4% indicates prediabetes & a level of 6.5% or more indicates diabetes.

Principle
Concentration in whole blood. Total hemonkbin & HbA1c have the same specific absorption rate to latex particles. When mouse anti human HoA 1c monoclonal antibody is added, latex-+IbA1c-mouse anti human HbA1c antibody complex is formed. Agglutination is formed when a goat anti-mouse IgG polyclonal antibody interacts with a monoclonal antibody. The amount of agglutination is proportional to the concentration of HA 1c in the specimen and is measured photoratrically.
