Online from Accurex. RFID Diluents in Hematology Analyzers are solutions used before hematology testing to dilute blood samples in clinical settings. Diluents may include solutions for use in blood cell counting & sizing & flow cytometry.
To facilitate the proper use of Accurex hematology systems, reagents are entered by simply scanning the RFID card on the reagent container. At the same time, the Hematology analyzer stores key reagent information such as lot number, open, expiry dates & remaining volume – all for operator convenience.

About
In Hematology Analyzers, Blood cell analysis involves using hematololgy diluents. Diluents are used to dilute the whole-blood sample. The diluents allow portions of the diluted blood sample to be analyzed for red blood cells & platelets. Accurex Diluents can help determine hemoglobin, white blood cell count, and more.
Principle
The Diluent is a solution with certian ion strength and conductivity, which can dilute the blood and from the sheath flow, providing a stable enviornment for blood cell counting.
The diluent for the hematology analyzer comprises sodium chloride, sodium sulfate, a phosphate buffer agent, ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid, 1-pyridone-2-sulphur & formaldehyde & the pH value of the solution is 6.5-7.4, and preferably is 7.2; the content of each component is preferably as follows: 5g/L of sodium chloride, 10g/L of sodium sulfate, 0.3g/L of ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid, and 0.2ml/L of 1-pyridone-2-sulphur. The diluent for the hematology analyzer provided by the invention has the beneficial effects that general physical mixing can be adopted, and the preparation is extremely convenient.
Procedure
•Store in a dark place to avoid exposure to sunglight
•Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, rinse immediately with water and seek medical advise. Avoid inhaling of evaportaed diluent.
